Good Faith Estimate — full text

Under federal law (the No Surprises Act), you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Providers must give this to clients who do not have insurance or are not using insurance, at least one business day before scheduled services. If you receive a bill that is $400 or more above your Good Faith Estimate, you may dispute the bill. To request one, email margeaux@hollandhearttherapy.com. More info at cms.gov/nosurprises.

Privacy & HIPAA — full text

Information submitted through the contact form (name, email, phone, state, message) is collected only to respond to your inquiry, stored by Squarespace, and transmitted to margeaux@hollandhearttherapy.com. The form is NOT HIPAA-secure. Please do not include protected health information, clinical details, diagnoses, medications, or specific incidents in your message.

If you become a client, all clinical documentation is maintained in SimplePractice (HIPAA-compliant). Aetna clients seen through Headway have records in Headway's HIPAA-compliant system. You'll receive a separate Notice of Privacy Practices outlining your HIPAA rights at the start of the therapeutic relationship.
